Mail Update: Lolita, Books

(SOURCE: Going into the World - Evert Jan Boks)

Let's cut to the chase!

SWIMMER "Eat Me" Biscuit Shoulder Bag

This is a relatively cheap bag (aprox. $26) that fits a lot of lolita themes: Alice and Bakery Foods.  It its worth getting. There is a handbag version of this, too.

Handmake Lolita Fashion Maiden Sewing Book #5
The newest issue. It has a Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in wonderland and Snow White based patterns. There is a bit of artwork from Kira Imai as well, like most issues.

AHCAHCUM.muchacha MOOK
I bought it for the bunny tote and bunny coin purse.

Misako Aoki's Lolita Fashion Book
She talks about the fashion's origin, evolution, the styles, the basic anatomy, fashion pieces, hair and makeup, coordinate examples, and brands. Its a decent handbook for beginners. Its in Japanese only, no English.

Metamorphose Regimental Stripe OTK Socks in Navy
I bought these to match my sailor lolita coordinate. I'm a fan of stripes in general. Nice shades of blue.

Metamorphose Cross Strap Mary Jane Shoes with Ribbons in Navy
I bought these because of the metallic factor. Metallic colors other than silver and gold are seen rarely in lolita. These shoes have a lot of potential. I do wish I bought the Pink Gold version as well. A even rarer color.

BABY, THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT Lace Frill Petticoat in Off-White
I bought this because its a simple item that adds a "WOW!" factor to a coordinate. Its also trendy right now. BTSSB recently just restocked on the longer ver. They tend to sell quick, so I would snatch one up today!

I would be more than happy to review in-depth any of the above items, just simply ask!
